Family Literacy Day

Child and Youth Services encourages parents to celebrate Military Family Appreciation Month by participating in Family Literacy with their children enrolled in CYS Programs. Come and read to your child.

Gingerbread House Competition

Outdoor Recreation and Solomon Center are teaming up for a Family Gingerbread House design and build competition. Families are invited to design and build a gingerbread house from either scratch or from one of the provided kits for the chance to win and have their Gingerbread House announced at the Garrison Tree Lighting Ceremony on December 2!

Register and pick up your free Gingerbread kits from The Solomon Center, Outdoor Recreation, and the library starting November 1 while supplies last. Full rules and requirements will be given upon registration. All completed Gingerbread Houses will be turned in at the Solomon Center no later than November 28 to be entered into the final judging. Learn how to save calories while also optimizing your budget.  This class is provided in partnership with the Army Wellness Center.  This is a Military Family Appreciation Month event.

The combining of boxing aerobics, jump rope training, resistance balls, drills, plyometrics and body weight exercises that tone the body.  An excellent total body workout without bulking up.
