Save $10 on season passes for Palmetto Falls when you purchase early. Aquatics staff will be selling season passes on April 14, 21 and 28, 1-4 p.m. at Knight Indoor Swimming Pool, at the Youth Fishing Derby at Heise’s Pond on April 22, 8 a.m.- 1 p.m. and the CYS Family Fun Fair, 4:30-6:30 p.m., April 28 at Patriots’ Park. Season passes for all DoD ID cardholders will $55 during these purchasing opportunities. (Regular price $65).
April 15th
Shoot at targets from 25 meters to 200 meters. Paper targets, spotting scopes, tables and chairs provided. Pistols or shotguns may be shot at a daily or hourly rate. Register at Marion Street Station. Costs are $25 per person full day (4 hours), $10 per person, per hour in advance, and $15 per person, per hour onsite, day of event, cash only. To celebrate Earth Day the library will host its bi-annual plant swap. Get rid of your surplus plants and seedlings and swap them for new! Bring your plants, seedlings, and seed to the library throughout the week of April 17-21. On April 21, you can stop by the library to pick out a plant.
May 15-21 is Nutrition Week. Learn the benefits of juicing in this free, interactive nutrition lecture at the Thomas Lee Hall (Post) Library presented by the Fitness Department.
