Coleman Gymnasium offers full court basketball, large weight room with Hoist and Hammer Strength machines, a cardiovascular room with Life Fitness treadmills, elliptical cross trainers and exercise bikes.
Basketball courts are open. Ages 16 and older allowed. ID card holders allowed 1 guest.
Please observe the following rules when visiting the gyms and fitness center.- 100% ID Check
- Sanitize equipment after each use.
- Showers and saunas are opened.
Eligibility
You must be an eligible ID card holder or guest to utilize any of the fitness centers or gymnasiums on Fort Jackson. Eligible ID card holders are one of the following: Active Duty military, Retired military, Reserve military, DA Civilian employees, including NAF Civilian employees, Army contract employees and age appropriate Family members.
Perez Gym
Perez fitness Center has 20,500 sq ft of work out space. The facility offers New Hoist and Hammer Strength weight equipment. Perez also offers a large free weight area that has benches, Smith cable machines, dumbbells, squat racks and more.
The Cardiovascular room has treadmills, elliptical cross training machines, exercise bikes, recumbent bikes, stair-master machines and cardio theatre. Perez offers 2 racquetball courts, saunas and male and female locker rooms.

Andy's Gym
Located in the Solomon Center, Andy’s Fitness Center at Fort Jackson is your most convenient and well equipped post work out facility. Andy’s Fitness Center houses contemporary, high quality equipment including free weights, weight stack machines, cardiovascular pieces with cardio theater, and an indoor running/walking track. A variety of aerobic classes from beginner and senior classes to highly challenging kick boxing and step sessions are available at convenient times.
Use of the facility requires that a patron be affiliated in one of the following ways: All U.S. Active Duty Military and their family members with ID Card, U.S. DOD Civilian ID Card holders and family members with ID Card, Retired military ID Card holders, Reserve and National Guard members and their families when the member has been called or ordered to duty, Veterans with 100% service connected disability, honorably discharged.
All participants are expected to conduct themselves in a reasonable, responsible, and prudent manner in accordance with facility rules and regulations. All guests must be accompanied by authorized patrons, one guest per ID card holder. Guest will be asked to provide identification when using facility for safety/security purposes.
