MWR Central

MWR Central at the Solomon Center opened in 1997. It is a one-of-a-kind facility located on Strom Thurmond Boulevard. MWR Central is home to various facilities like:

VideoRama

Videorama is a part of Fort Jackson’s Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation Division and provides videos of several of the major Basic Combat Training events at Fort Jackson. 

Video includes the battalion graduation ceremony in its entirety recorded on graduation day and comes in a USB thumb drive format and can be viewed on a computer, smart TV or smartphone/tablet (with a USB-c adapter not included).

Century Lanes Bowling

Picture yourself bowling at Century Lanes. Good times and open lanes await you. Bowling at Century Lanes is family fun at its best. There’s something for everyone – bowling, quick shot bingo, video games and pool tables.

Inside seating available for lunch, 10am- 2pm on family days. Non-Family days, lunch is from 11am-1:30pm.

Food Trucks at Inchon Lake

Inchon Park houses various local food trucks and eateries for families and friends to enjoy during family day and graduation.

The trail currently encompasses a five-mile loop trail located within the cantonment area of Fort Jackson as well as a smaller mile loop around the Solomon Center, Palmetto Falls, Palmetto Greens and Patriots Park (Solomon Center). Each portion of the trail is identified by star blazes.

Fort Jackson Golf Club

The Fort Jackson Golf Club is considered by many as the finest golf operation the military has to offer that is open to the public. The facilities feature two well-maintained championship courses, state-of-the-art practice facilities, an attractive 10,000 square foot clubhouse, a well-stocked pro shop, snack bar and lounge.

Thomas Lee Hall Library

The Thomas Lee Hall Library is located in Bldg 4679 on the corner of Liberty Div. Rd and Strom Thurmond Blvd. 

The Post Library is open 11am-7pm, Monday – Thursday and 12-5 pm, Friday and Saturday. The library is closed on Sundays, federal holidays, and federal holiday weekends.

512 Trolley Cafe

The 512 Trolley Café serves hot and cold espresso drinks, as well as fruit smoothies, to the Fort Jackson Community.

Customers can expect to find high-quality espresso based drinks, much like they would find in the big box and specialty coffee houses. Currently hot and cold espresso drinks and 100 percent whole fruit smoothies are available.
